Lizeaga Sagardotegi - Here we are enjoying our dessert (sorry about the blurry picture - blame the waitress!). The traditional Basque dessert is whole walnuts, quince (a hard fruit jelly called "membrillo" in Spanish & Basque), and Idiazabal cheese. Light and yummy!
Spiritual, silly, multi-cultural mountain of a man. Originally American but now Dutch, I speak fluent English, Spanish and Dutch as well as a fair amoount of Japanese, French and Basque. Have a job I (finally) love, a wonderful husband who I love even more, and a fantasy life of international travel (at least for a boy from the heart of agricultural America!).
